Jaci McCormack is a Native American basketball legend. She grew up in Lapwai, Idaho on the Nez Perce reservation where she became Idaho State Player of the Year, and eventually earned a scholarship and a degree at Illinois State University. But her journey from the reservation to the college court was not easy. McCormack joins the Chino Y Chicano to talk about her playing days, the challenges she faced, the importance of "Rez Ball", and her work as CEO of Rise Above, a non-profit she heads that uses sports to help Native American youth achieve and succeed.  McCormack's efforts have gained the support of basketball greats Lenny Wilkens and Gary Payton, as well as actor Danny Glover.  Hollywood has come calling, a feature film about McCormack is set to begin production this year.
